I went to the local Out of this World Conference in Addison on Saturday. It was an all day event. I did have Sarah Davies, a literary agent from London, remember me from the California conference. She approached me and we had a delightful conversation. We also met Aaron Reynolds the writer of “Creepy Carrots” and 20 other published books. He autographed my book for me. A lot of people remembered me from the other conferences. The conferences really build up my confidence. I really enjoy them. I feel like I am a part of group. They treat me like I’m a part of their peers. I feel like I’m at home when I go to the conferences. I’m not rejected by anyone. They talk to me, not around me. I never felt that way before. I even met someone from Lancaster, Texas. My other home town. It was a great conference. I’m ready for New York. Here are some photos.
