I went to this show in August of 1988. This is actually the one that appears in the Guns N Roses Paradise City video. Deep Purple was the best of the three, by far. What they dont tell you, is that people were lighting seats on fire, as well as industrial sized rolls of toilet paper, and raining them down on the crowd from the rafters. Then, a riot in the temporary concession stands broke out a few minutes after Deep Purple got off. The whole area was annihilated within minutes. It delayed Aerosmith for quite a long time. Thats why if you ever see live footage from this particular show, the sun is still up when G N R is on, and its long dark when Aerosmith is playing. Rock and roll, baby ;)
