I will admit yesterday I had a bit of a struggle maintaining a peaceful state not because of what occurred or the fact it did occur but the fact that I took my eyes off Jesus and looked at the situation from a flesh point of view. Not to react to a situation in the midst of its occurrence was something I struggled with for a very long time but yesterday I realized after the state of being upset I have made progress in maintaining during situations that otherwise would have provoked a response . I thank God for the never ending transformation process we go through to be more like Him. Then this morning I woke up thinking about a scripture reminding me that God takes care of His own. He takes care of everything around us so why would He not take care of us.? Then I see a confirmation here from a friend on FB, same scripture. Isnt God good? Dont measure your walk with God to anyone else. Everyone progresses and masters things at different rates and ways. Compare your walk to where you once were, and who you once was because that is the real deal as far as your progress to becoming more like Christ. Stay focused on Jesus and consider every test and trial in that area a progress report from God! Be blessed and know God is in control
