I will be changing majors. It is simply a matter of why would be supportive of a department that clearly cannot be supportive of its students in that department? After all I have been through, I recognize the importance of students and their dreams. I will not stand by idly and watch as some with no conscience or without care determine my future. No one should ever go through that. I support my school and its policies but realistically each situation is different, and every student needs positive role models, not negative ones. To me it is a simple logical choice. I care about myself and others too much to set aside my basic human principles of what I call human dignity, love, caring and everything decent.
