I will be interested to see the outcome this behavior has upon society world wide. people have already become impersonal and alienated from one another through devices but this preoccupation with what is happening on social media seems unhealthy as far as interpersonal relationships go. You cannot communicate effectively if your attention is divided or distracted and effective communication is key to maintaining healthy relationships.
