I will be posting a whole bunch of pictures of Dudley real soon, I just want Nina to come home and see him first! He is doing wonderful, I dont even think he remembers having 4 legs! Hes already running and going up and down the stairs like a pro. Of course Im going to keep him from going overboard and try to get him to rest as much as possible until he fully heals up. I wanted to take this moment to post on how much money was donated, and where it all went. In total $975 was raised for Dudley. I am still in awe at that amount and could not thank each and every one of you enough. That was a true blessing. After fees from GoFundMe were taken out, we were given $951 His surgery was $600, we opted to pay the extra $200 to have his leg sent off to make sure it was for sure osteosarcoma, and to see what stage it was at and if it had the chance to spread to other parts of his body. This information is huge. It will tell us how much more treatment Dudley will need if any. $100 went toward his pain medication that was given at the animal hospital and some of the pills he get with us here at home. $20 for his e-collar, which they required I purchase, even though I had one. $25 for an extra night stay at the animal hospital. $4 for a new after surgery toy, and $2 for 2 on the drive home hamburgers from McDonalds for getting through this like a champ! Every penny we received from you guys went toward Dudley. Nina and I couldnt have been more grateful for the kind messages, and all the donations we received on Dudleys behalf. It was so overwhelming it brought us to tears. I am so happy to have my best friend home with me for the new year. We already have a packed full 2015 in store with the first stop being the ocean! There are so many people who are in need and have to deal with this type of circumstance all across America. I am a proud supporter of both Six Legs Foundation and Bialys Wellness Foundation. Both raise money to help people all across the USA get the medication and surgeries their pets need, so they can stay in their homes.
