In the morning at 9 AM, Dr. Josefino Comiso, Ph.D., Senior Scientist, Earth Science Division of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center at Greenbelt, Maryland, USA will talk about climactic trends and the consequent phenomena like Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) and the contents of his latest book - Changing Philippine Climate: Impacts on Agriculture and Natural Resources. These talks are organized by the 2013 UP Alumni Assn. Distinguished Awardees Group in partnership with the UP National College of Public Administration and Governance (NCPAG)s Lecture Series on relevant governance and development issues we face today.
