I will be teaching my BEGINNING CRANIO-SACRAL CLASS on Saturday, August 2nd, from 9 am to 5 pm. The cost is $125, and the location will be in the Shambhala Center adjacent to my office suite at 920 41st Avenue, Santa Cruz, 95062. Reservations are required. I always have a lot of fun with this class! Attendees range from absolute beginners, to skilled practitioners who have taken my class or other cranio classes before, but repeate it to hone their skills. Many attendees have been massage therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors, but anyone is welcome. That being said, the class is intended for people who intend to practice Cranio-Sacral Technique regularly. (Cranio-Sacral is like learning an instrument or a dance step, and those who become proficient at it are those who are motivated to practice it.) The style I teach comes through “lineage. It is the osteopathic style that I learned from my mentor, Ed Jarvis, D.C.. In one day, you can walk away being able to perform the “basics on your client or family members. Even if you cannot feel the subtleties of the “pulse,” you can still practice the basics until the pulse becomes evident to your hands while you practice over time.
