I will be the first to tell you I am not a huge Metal guy. Im not. I really respect people who are virtuosos at what they do. But too much technical skill and you lose me as a listener. I want to hear notes and words and noises that emote, not as many as you can play. BUT all that said, some of my favorite people are metalheads. And they are devout music fans. They meticulously find bands that are their cup of tea and follow them. This band ( Endast ) makes a mockery of Pompaloose, and essentially shows you what touring after touring for awhile and not becoming a sensation is: hard work & fun & f**king spreading joy everywhere. Being a part of it. Its easy to get lost in the grind of anything, and touring is no exception, but I would gladly house these guys & fry them some eggs. ( a skill I have recently acquired. I KNOW. but Im still sorta-proud of it, so eat an egg. ) See you Friday, Duluth. You are always ready for me and I truly appreciate that.
