I will be very glad when the world and the church come out of fear of public opinion. A few years ago my husband and I went for a short drive to get out of the house for a minute. We never go anywhere because of money but we decided we would go to a new movie theater. Years ago when people went out anywhere in public they would dress up so we decided my husband needed a very cheap new shirt so we bought one and went to the theater. When we walked in I was shocked to see that everyone there was dressed as though they had just been working in their yards Now churches are dressing casual and people are more comfortable praising God. No more beauty contest in church. Rend your hearts and not your garments says the Lord. I am seeing more and more Pastors in the pulpit dressed in comfortable clothes and I praise God for this. I am still waiting for the rest of the TV evangelist to get free from their bondage to appearance and public opinion. Traditions of man. I never understood why men wear suits with long sleeves in the summer. Pastors up in the pulpit dripping perspiration because they are wrapped in layers of pride and tradition. Do Pastors really think that being dressed a certain way will make Gods word more appealing. Let the word of God come from God. We hold this treasure in earthen vessels. We must decrease and the Word of God must get all the glory. As the anointing increases more and more people are shedding traditions of bondage. He whom the Lord sets free is completely free.
