I will begin by thanking my Creator for His goodness and mercy. I - TopicsExpress

I will begin by thanking my Creator for His goodness and mercy. I lift the love in my heart up to Him and pray that He looks with pity when He sees my offering. May my life be found pleasing to Him. I continue to ask Him to release His Spirit upon this great land, and that like a great giant the peoples of this great land, the Peopless Island, would wake from its slumber and rise up as a mighty warrior of light. I beg Him to hear my prayer. There is a serpent that digs its way below and around us and it grows ever larger with each passing day. Its guts are black, slimy poison. This serpents growth must be stopped. With each passing day, climate change escalates, grows worse, and threatens all life on this planet. With each passing day, every one of us, all of creation, become locked into an ever higher average global temperature. There is no turning back. We are on the ride and there is no going back. Today lying before all of us is whether we can stabilize the increase and prevent the worse from unfolding. We, every one of us, have the power to determine at what temperature the increase will be stopped. As of today, global temperatures will increase to a minimum of 2 degrees Celsius...even at this level the Arctic is melting. Greenland is losing land mass every day releasing immeasurable amounts of fresh water into the ocean. Unchecked, we are in course for a 6 degree increase that will usher in a mass extinction of 95% of all life on this planet. As islands disappear and our beautiful world rapidly fades into a mere shadow of what it was in 1980, I believe. I do not believe any government is capable of responding to this global crisis. In the words of Che Guevara People must see clearly the futility of maintaining the fight for social goals within the framework if civil debate. When the forces of oppression come to maintain themselves in power against established law, peace is considered already broken. Only people in local areas can respond to this global crisis. It is part of a global movement for justice for all people, all of creation, everywhere. Climate justice. Social justice. There will be a revolution. That is a given. What has yet to be determined is whether it will be one of peace or chaos. When a government has come into power through some form of popular vote, fraudulent or not, and maintains at least an appearance of constitutional legality, the guerrilla outbreak cannot be promoted, since the possibilities if peaceful struggle have not yet been exhausted (Che Guavara). Today, among THE PEOPLE of land this hope is fast fading. I pray that all peacemakers still have an opportunity to define a way of peace forward. So many people willfully blind. Why? All any one of us have to do is look outside our windows whether we live in Dublin, Paris, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, Sydney, Mumbai, Port Elizabeth, NYC, Toronto, Tsuu Tina, Cowessess... My eyes are drawn to the babies I see. All so very beautiful and so very precious. What will their world be like? How much will they have to suffer? With each passing day, the urgency of my duty grows more and more acute. The greatest life anyone can live is living life using ones gift to make our world a better place...not just for me or my family but for the greater collective good. I have a vision of a world that where through all this darkness the human family has rallied together and has achieved that better world. It is within reach. Anything the human family can envision together can be achieved. Such an amazing gift we have been given. Let us now use it for good. It is in times of greatest upheaval that the human spirit through searching deeply finds within the capacity to sacrifice greatly. Today is such a time. In fact, it is the very hour when each of us must recognize this crisis in all its darkness for what it is: a great unfolding of the greatness within each of us. A better world is not only possible, it is there....just within our grasp. :-) May my words fly as god seed in the four directions an where they land may they find good fertile soil, and rise up as a mighty forest braced against the coming storm. Respectfully, Thunder Sky Waiting
