I will believe this to be truth, and allow it to explain this period of emotional unsteadiness and panic as a period of growth, as I prepare to spread my wings and fly from my nest of security, safety, love, and stability of home. I feel like a very unsteady tiny bird who has not yet learned to fly. Looking out from my nest from way up high and so far it is should I fall to the ground, I realize that I have to re-learn how to function in society on a daily basis, with severe sensitivities and a neurological condition no one knows or understands. I am terrified, but hopeful, as I go in search of this physician who is knowledgeable about this rare condition dubbed "The Pain Beyond Pain", Central Neuropathic Pain Syndrome with Neuronal Hypersensitivity, hopeful he can help me return to life. I am ready to live, ready to thrive, ready to be alive. I want to shed this cloak of illness and fly. ~ Deborah
