I will dedicate this post to my sons 6th grade teacher who, despite the same time crunching that all teachers feel, still sets aside at least a half hour of time every single morning to allow her students to read any book of their choosing at their desks or on the floor on large throw pillows she has for them. I am grateful every day that my son has been lucky enough to be in her class. She recognizes how important the love of reading is, and fosters that love in her students.
