I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, and the praises - TopicsExpress

I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the Lord, and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord hath bestowed on us.—Isaiah 63:7. If one took this exercise seriously, the list of lovingkindnesses and praises of the Lord is considerably greater than one may, at first, think. He has been so gracious in times past do you think He will suddenly change His character and stop being who He is? God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Look back over your journey to this point. Can you not trace His abundant blessings right up to this very moment? For me, there have been numerous brushes with death of which He divinely preserved me. These are times that I became aware of certain death, but the only explanation for survival is His strong arm kept me from it. There have also been blessings abundant that I can only attribute to His gracious acts. At the top of that list is the gift of salvation, but many, many other blessings follow. If the sky were the parchment and the ocean my ink, there would not be room enough to write it all down and the ocean would surely run dry in the endeavor. Suffice it to say...daily blessings are too numerous to count. But that isnt all because life isnt just about ME. Ive been privileged to introduce many to the Savior and traveled to far away places I never dreamed I would carry the Gospel. Please do not interpret this as self-boasting. I am merely bragging on my God who saw fit to order my steps thus. I have stood before crowds large enough to fill a stadium and sat with individuals one on one. Their faces flash through my memory and my heart is warmed at their thought. Nothing is more thrilling (as a believer) than leading a soul to Christ. It is just as satisfying seeing scores and scores and scores of souls stand to trust Christ publicly as it is to sit in a living room, a hospital room, or a front porch to lead one precious soul to Christ. Each one possesses infinite value to God our Creator. Simply put, I just want to make the biggest splash for my Savior possible. I dont need nor want to promote my name. I desire to exalt His name in this sin-laden world. Shouldnt that be the desire of every blood-bought, born-again believer? I certainly cannot think of anything worth more to live for than His glory. And I certainly cannot think of anything more thrilling than seeing His will wrought in the souls of men. Amen!
