I will never forget where I was when the Towers Fell! The - TopicsExpress

I will never forget where I was when the Towers Fell! The President was less than 20 minutes from the school I was working as an Athletic Trainer. A lot of faculty scared for family in New York as that area of Florida has a lot of re-located New Yorkers and the kids trying to make light of what was really going on! I remember thinking that the kids just have seen this so many times in movies etc. That seeing it on TV made the situation seem fake or not real to them at all. Some got it right away, but I was speachless when the 2nd tower fell! My brother was blowing up my cellphone and telling me to get to his house, we are under attack. But, the school was on Lockdown, I was where I needed to be for the faculty, friends, and students.Tragic day and one in which none of us will ever forget! Our Nation Under God needs to stay that way! Under God and Fight for our Liberties and Justice For all. My thoughts go out to the families who lost loved ones because of 9-11, not just that day, but those soldiers who have stood the ground and fought and lost their lives to defend us from another 9-11! My friends who have been wounded, but still went back over to defend our Freedoms! Dan Clary is retired Military and is still back over in harms way, because that is what he does best, defends our nation. Shawn Sprague has fought and cannot even tell us about it, because none us really want to know the cost of his sacrifice for us and our country. Those are two personal friends that i know about, countless others are out there. My freedom is based on some brave men and women. So I am going to choose to celebrate them today and say a prayer for all! Thank you to all!
