I will never stop saying how thankful I am for the impact this man has made on my life. People like Thierry Henry are very seldom found these days and these people are able to make you question who you are and what you want to be and show you that you can be part of something much larger than yourself. Watching Henry play is what I imagine it was like to watch Picasso paint, they both take a blank canvas and with every brush stroke or world class play, they create something absolutely amazing. As it seems more and more like soccer will play a major part in my future in no matter what aspect, I look forward to the day I am able to tell my kids I was able to witness Henrys career with my own eyes. It may be the end of his playing career, but I look forward to seeing him continue to inspire and connect with people through this beautiful game. To be a footballer was just a dream, and I dont believe in dreams. I only deal in what is real. To be honest, Ive never thought about what I could get out of football or where it would take me. I just wanted to play. Im the same now.
