I will not rejoice because Nyako has fallen for I believe this - TopicsExpress

I will not rejoice because Nyako has fallen for I believe this success, should it seem so to you, is, at best, only temporary. I believe that Nyako is a deserving victim of politics. I also do believe that the House of Assembly, which suddenly woke up to its responsibility after Nyako’s seven long years of misrule in Adamawa, was not motivated by any lofty ideals or a genuine desire to ensure accountability and punish misconduct. Anyone looking for proof should look at the charges against Nyako again and they would find that some of the offences date as far back as 2007! I will rejoice when Umar Fintiri unites the people of Adamawa. I will rejoice if he cleans up, at the very least, some of the mess and restores a sense of belonging to all sections of the state. I will rejoice if he allows free and fair general elections in the state next year. The real victory will be the enthronement of accountability and good governance in Adamawa, a job that requires more than accidental leaders! My two cents!
