I will not wish for anyone to have a happy new year. To wish is - TopicsExpress

I will not wish for anyone to have a happy new year. To wish is effortless. To do something so that things will change in a positive way by next year is different. I will not say things are fine just because the number 2014 is changing to 2015 and neither will I say that you need to wait a little bit longer for things to alter. Nothing will be achieved until you and I start working toward it, instead of just hoping that things will somehow adjust on their own. I can wish you all wonderful things such as: happiness, hope, love, faith, health, fortune, and so on, but what I want to wish all of you the most is to have the ambition, determination, strength, and intelligence to strive for something attainable, accomplish goals, expand both your imagination and intelligence, not to look at things from a pessimistic or optimistic point of view but from a realistic one, to have the will power to admit your faults, to take responsibility for your own actions, to think before you act, to live by your stated principles, and to treat each other ethically and with compassion. We dont need a government or a bible to understand what is wrong and what is right. What we need is each other and to have the proper ethos, so that we share our knowledge and experiences and move forward together as a functioning nation and society. Unity and harmony can go a long way and it is all possible provided we commit not just our words but our time and energy. I am sure that this upcoming year will bring hardships, obstacles, times of despair and depressing moments but I also know that this upcoming year will bring me many laughs, pleasant surprises, and most importantly time that we can all treasure and use to improve ourselves, our fellows and our surroundings. Blessed be thy all and may the destiny of our children be a bright one in this upcoming year and the many years that follow 2015.
