I will praise Thee, O LORD, with MY WHOLE HEART. ~ Psalm 9:1 - TopicsExpress

I will praise Thee, O LORD, with MY WHOLE HEART. ~ Psalm 9:1 Part 1 of 2 How so very often do we as professing Christians miss the overall context of Brother Davids blessed Psalms within through the Spirit of God of the LORDs praise. It seems we only focus our praise during times of jubilee of receiving the Lords goodness to our preceived flesh. How often we forget that good works performed by the LORD God in times where it seems bad to our sinful flesh that we do not give God the glory and praise He always deserve. I am so guilty of this I have to admit saints. We should all be inspired by Brother Jobs praise despite his most difficult time in the flesh, Though he slay me, yet will I trust in Him {Job 13:15}. And again by Brother Pauls account, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christs sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong {2 Cor. 12:9-10}. Has the heavenly Father ever promised us physical prosperity beyond our wildest dreams within His Holy Word? Absolutely NOT! However, the gracious Father has promised those who are begotten and beloved of Him spiritual prosperity, i.e., granted being rich in His Son. How is the spiritual prosperity attained? Hear the apostles answer for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin {1 Peter 4:1}. The LORD God Himself had declared His refinement process of spiritual riches in stating, For MY NAMES SAKE will I defer mine anger, and FOR MY PRAISE will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. Behold, I HAVE REFINED THEE, but not with silver; I HAVE CHOSEN THEE IN THE FURNACE OF AFFLICTION. For MINE OWN SAKE, even for mine own sake, will I do it {Isa. 48:9-11}. God expects and demands that His very own give Him all the praise and glory with their whole heart that they have been so graciously chosen to be partakers of His furnace of affliction causing and moving them to cease away from a sinful nature through sufferings. What did Christ promise to us? Hear His gracious answers, Think NOT that I am come to SEND PEACE on earth: I CAME NOT to send peace, but A SWORD & there will be divisions in the family {Matt. 10:34, Luke 12:51-53}; In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world {John 16:33}. Yes, Christ DID NOT come during His first advent to bring peace to the whole world, but He came and died to send down the SWORD of the Holy Spirit of God coupled with the Holy Word {Eph. 6:17, Heb. 4:12} into the hearts of His chosen sheep and it will cause much tribulation and divisions within the family structure. But God tells us to be of good cheer always praising Him because He has overcame the world of its pure evilness. And if His Spirit is in you that means you have overcame the world to by rite of circumcision made without hands {Rom. 2:29}. The Victory we have in Jesus will always cause and move us to praise Thee, O LORD, with MY WHOLE HEART continually no matter what circumstances we found ourselves in. Part 2 to be posted at a later time, Lord willing and able. Stay encouraged dear beloved saints.
