I will share this video from Ro Nee, but it will come with a little reflection. Though this video may seem, to some eyes, exaggerated, it is not. Not only in countries with big amounts of population under the line of poverty happen the facts that are depicted in the video, even when you might need to change the numbers. Fact # 1: My grandmother, mother of my mom, wanted to study secondary school when she finished the grammar school. She was brilliant, and I had proof of that. An authentic intellectual genius. BUT, her father didnt allow her to study; even when the nuns at her school met with him to convince him, he said It is completely useless to spend money in the education of a woman. She will get married, and all that money will be lost. The answer is NO. So she had to carry her frustration and her anger, and got married with a man that was chosen by her step-mother, disregarding my granma feelings for a different man, a boy of her age., which loved her too. She got married, never had a good life, was completely , utterly miserable, and she wasnt allowed to separate from my granfather, because that was going to ruin the familys reputation. In the end, she did something completely more damaging to her and hers than separation would have done... Did anybody do a mea culpa on this? No, they didnt. Her and her ALONE had to take responsability for something that would have been avoided if she was granted the education she deserved. Fact #2: My mother, my grandmothers daughter, born of that damaged marriage, developed as a woman when she was eleven. Beautiful, charming, and too developed for her age, she was in fact molested since the age of three, yes, THREE, by two different neighbors, and then raped sistematically from the age of 6 until the age of eleven, by a family member, whom she had to live with on a daily basis. NOBODY helped her. At the age of eleven, my grandmother knew this, and the raping stopped, but the injuries, and insults perpetrated by that same person who abused her for so long didnt stop, and in fact nothing bad happened to that monster, nobody put him in jail for whar he did to a child for so many years. My mother had to spend most of the day outside her house, to avoid contact with this person, what of course caused gossiping and more pain. She started working at the age of twelve, by the age of fifteen she was bringing the sustainance to her home, and at the age of sixteen she got a steady job as an assistant in a school bus, driven and owned by my father. They started dating, and at the age of eighteen she got married with my father, who was 32 years old. Three months after marrying she got pregnant. When they got married they left the neighborhood, because she was still a minor, my dad didnt have a job, so she worked temporary jobs until she could no more. My father happened to be just as abusive as the people that she always knew. She couldnt escape that, because had none to help her, and was constantly self-deprecating herself until she lost all hope and spark of life, despite my efforts on the contrary. Fact #3: I myself developed at the age of eleven. At the age of twelve I had 112 cm of breasts. YES, what youre reading is correct. A tiny, 1,52 cm of height girl carrying the breast of a matron. I knew pretty early in life what is to be insulted by men AND women alike, because you have a physical feature that they want or envy, and as we were very, exrtemely poor, and my clothes were always almost rags, thesepeople which in their respective homes behave like wise and compassionate human beings, in the street, in the presence of someone that couldnt deffend herself, showed what they really were. I learned to cover myself with long sweaters, to disguise my attibutes so nobody will envy me, and I learned that just for having big breasts, if you dont have a real family and money that supports you, you will be treated like a hooker, even if youre a virgin and youre terrified by the evilness of humanity. I learned all those things that this video says, in the worst way, and I knew that, at any cost, I had to avoid bringing babies to this world if nobody would take care of them, and I knew that I had to educate myself, and so I did. Like me, like my mother, like my grandmother, there are many other women that are captive in a system designed to destroy the best of the human spirit. This system is not designed by women, is designed by men, but ASSISTED by women that go against that which is pure and true: our souls, our unbreakable souls. Some people say that you shouldnt post personal things on Facebook. I think different. I think that any mean is good if we can help others to regain themselves, somehow. Peace be upon whoever reads this.
