I will start off with an apology ... Im sorry if I upset or offend anyone with this long post. I typically wouldnt do this but I have been getting posts about Flat Griff still in CT and it brought me to a point that I felt as if I needed to say something. I know everyone wants to be with flat Griff and be a part of a global phenomena with him traveling to all the parts of the earth. I do understand that life gets in the way...but it seems as if selfishness and personal drama continue to be a challenge in the way of his incredible journey across the planet. We missed our opportunity with Griff and opted not to take him after two weeks of trying to contact and connect with the person who had him so that he could quickly move on to his next destination. I understand there is no time limit on his journey. But it truly is not considerate of others to have him longer than a few days. He shouldnt have to visit every location in your town for you to share in the experience I would like to suggest an idea ... Is there anyway we could find a way to make flat Griffs available for purchase with a portion of it going to Chance or a charity of Lisas choice. She seems to be very in tune with what is going on with bulldogs and specifically that subset of disability. We can then all have a flat Griff that we can take on family vacations and do photo ops with and then share them with the rest of our group so we can see where and how far he has reached. The power of Griff runs deep within us and he represented everything we wanted for him strength, toughness and happiness. Im not looking to upset or make any extra work for anyone but if someone could take the ball and run with it I would buy one today. If not ...can anyone tell me how to find out where it was printed and I will call them directly to purchase one. I just wanted to offer a solution to the bottle neck that has presented itself and maintain the same amount of excitement that keeps his spirit alive. Thank you. Ray
