I wish ALL teachers and coaches realized the IMPORTANT impact they can have on some (many) kids. How the slightest action or words can either help build their self esteem or completely break them down to where they feel hopeless and worthless. (Which SO much will continue to grow off of). Yes us parents are the main ones in helping children in that area, but teachers and coaches have a HUGE impact on shaping these children too. Wayyyy more than I think they realize! If youre a teacher or a coach please, think about everything you do and say to your students bc you never know what difference YOU are making in them when it comes to reflecting upon themselves. YOU may be that ONE person they look up to or admire in some way(unknowingly) and have more to do with how he/she feels about themselves than u could ever realize or imagine....just something to always think about, if that is the profession you are in. MAKE a difference. ....a GOOD one! =) You have nooo idea how it can make them have a great outlook on things at school or negative outlooks! AS well as the CONFIDENCE in themselves!
