I wish I could find a textbook on ants. I found something similar to it once in the AdDU library, although it was a small paperback book . Almost finished it but then got too busy with exams. Interestingly, I learned that weaver ants were one of the few insect species that actually use tools. They squeeze silk threads out of their babies to patch together leaves to create nests. It made me realize strong and why their legs would ground themselves and extend outwards. Still I am curious of what drives their aggressive behavior, and if such behavior is built on a biological caste (as other ants of that species dont always lunge forward in an attack). And what about long horned crazy ants? Why dont they sting nor bite? Perhaps that is why they run fast. Maybe I can find a downloadable book or something.
