I wish little girls today were seeing female characters like this on TV and in the movies. I give mad props to Clair Huxtable, Julia Sugarbaker, Elise Keaton, Maggie Seaver and even Dorothy Zbornak for representing strong, smart ladies who charmed with their wit, grit and sass rather than by taking their clothes off on some reality show. We are shifting backwards, folks...and its having a very real impact on us both culturally and legally. If women are marginalized in the culture, why should we be surprised when we are marginalized in the Court? (stolen from Sharry Willoughby. Thanks, Sharry!)
