I wish that women would stop watching The Walking Dead. Good shows always get ruined while trying to cater to the female demographic. Women dont care about the zombie apocalypse, the compelling drama of trying to survive another day, They even get all squirmish and complain about the intense gore. All women care about is the relationship between the male and female characters and who is going to hook up with who. The Glen character has already been ruin and needs to die ASAP and Daryl hasnt been cool since the mid season finale. Its because female viewers are lobbying the writers and producers for less grittiness and more ROMANCE. Really? Do viewers really want to watch romance in a show about flesh eating zombies? If one were to compare season 1 with season 4, theres no denying that the series and format has been significantly pussified. Rick, the main character, the main star was absent for a total of 7 episodes. Thats almost half a season. Why is that? Is it because he didnt have a love interest among the other female characters? I know some (very few) of my female friends that are in it for the apocalypse but the sad truth is females prominently want lots of relationships and romance in their drama ... just as men prominently want lots of action, suspense, gore, fart jokes and braless secondary female characters in their drama. Its human nature, If females were to get too much creative control of this series, us men viewers are going to have suffer through a Glen loves Maggie show for season 5. Why cant women just stick with their Twilight Saga, Vampire Diaries, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Has Beens and Lifetime Channel and let us MEN have a show that we can call our own. This is not a rant. Its my personal plea.
