I wish those days to come back .......when we would be sound asleep and my mum would wake us up and say .....wake up!!! wake up!!! the parade is about to begin its 23rd March .......and we would jump out of our beds ......and go out in our backyard to see those flying fighter jets....... showing their grandeur and stunts with those colourful smokes... running inside home to see the rangers shouting Allah Hoo!! Allah Hoo!! ......and parading in their own style... seeing the prime minister and high ups standing in respect of the national anthem all done in the D Chowk....!!! Hah!! i wish those days to come back!!! I wish those days come back..... when we would wait for months for the month of Independence .......and on 13th we would decorate our house with strings of green and white flags n a big flag at the roof top... and at night we all would hop in the car to see the twinkling lights decorating the buildings of the federal capital...and come back home smilingly with the excitement of the independence day in the morning... and the innocent tears the rain would bring ...as every time we decorated our frontyard it would rain... but it was such a happiness to pick a mini flag.... clean it up and keep it safe if it had fallen with the rain drops.....!!!! all memories of the 14th august... our independence day....!!! Hah !! i wish those days to come back!!! n today .......!!!!!! i wish our Pakistan was as peaceful as it was earlier or at least our childhood and innocent times would never have ended..!!! God bless Pakistan!! Pakistan Zindabad!!
