I wish to Thank Ross for clearly stating what I could not. I usually just say, There is a big difference in presenting a feel a horse can feel confident in vs making a horse. People simply have the hardest time seeing the difference. All they see is an all of a sudden what they believe to be a compliant horse and that is good enough for them. What they dont see is the give-up in the process. I find that when I see or feel a give-up there is only a temporary compliance until the horse rallies or the horse simply shuts down and doesnt care anymore. There is no freedom in that.
