I wish to thank each and everyone of you all for the birthday wishes I recieved today , from messages to facebook to txt messages and ph calls .... Unfortunatly my wife and I recieved some devestaing news late this afternoon Her father has passed away , and to make it even harder , her family are on the other side of the country ... We have rushed an air ticket to get dianne over tonight , and I have just dropped her at the melb airport .... Steven Radonich ( my father-inlaw ) was a towering bloke ,& built like a brick shithouse, and I still recall our first meeting , he wouldnt even shake my hand .... , he was a shy man , but carried a certain aura about him that comanded respect ... You can imagine how terrified I was when I asked for his blessing to marry his little girl (every fathers princess) ... Over the years I honestly belive he respected and dare I say it , loved me in his own way , and we truly had some great laughs together ( even tho I was still crapping myself ) and just chatting out on the back patio . Taking his daughter to move far away must have been one of the hardest things to do , but he did it with a smile and all the well wishes he could say , he rang dianne almost daily to catch up , and never was a helping hand far away ... These last few months have been tough , with his health , but never once did he complain , never asking for help , unless forced upon him .... I just wish he could have seen his daughter one last time , Take care steve , I swear your daughter will be loved , cared for and treasured the way you always wanted. Jeff
