I witnessed the most AMAZING thing this morning at 2am!! Ana was awakened by Kiana who then went into a fever seizure. Ana got up and yelling for HELP, Bob and I ran upstairs into the bedroom. At that time Jon came running into the room and used his Emergency Medical Responder knowledge and took over, while I called 911! Jon was so calm and kind to Kiana and truly diffused the panic that was felt!!! Kiana was taken by ambulance to The UofM Emplatz Childrens Hospital, due to her 2 cranial surgeries. To ensure it was a fever seizure! In the ambulance her temp was 104. She is doing well now, all indications she has a sinus infection. Jon did such an amazing job - he just passed his EMR certification last Thursday!! It so proves his choice of law enforcement is his calling - IM SO PROUD OF HIM!!!! If it hadnt been so frightening, I would have loved to just watch him handle her!!! It was a difficult situation for Ana to see her little Squeakers go through but she did great too!!!
