I woke up at 4:30am and scanned all available Hagupit models / analyses and saw at least two with possible Bicol landfall - JMA and ks weather and more. Ramdam mo na maprapraning lang ako at wala akong magagawa, so I prayed to Jesus, asked my two mothers in heaven- Nuestra Señora de Salvacion and my own mother who herself fell victim to a typhoon. Then, I uploaded the latest JTWC with Oratio Imperata and changed my profile pic with Oratio Imperata - coping mechanism or self-assuring gyrations.Then, tinulugan ko na lang.. When I woke up 4 hours later, I found King M. Reginaldo and Bicolano Man uploading more more benign models. It could not be my sleeping but in times like this that active surrender to Gods will and obedience to His command to prepare and that serenity of spirit and strength of character that can only come from the embrace of the Holy Spirit.
