I woke up from a fitful sleep at 4 A.M. I was singing John Connollys song Rose-Colored Glasses in my head. I talked rather sternly to myself about the benefits of sleeping at least 6 full hours but to no avail. I got up, checked the computer, got some coffee, and chatted with David. About 5:30 I decided to go get myself clean. I needed to wash my hair so I knelt in the huge tub with sprayer in hand and adjusted the water temp just so. Then I managed somehow to drop the sprayer which naturally landed spray side up. Whilst the thing was spraying directly in my face and I was gasping for breath like a landed fish, I scrambled blindly around to grab the sprayer and turn it away from me. I blinked water out of my face and looked around the bathroom to find it liberally dripping from ceiling to mirror to window to floor. Im worried about today. Maybe I shouldnt handle sharp knives.
