I woke up this morning Really I did >>> My thoughts got going and it brought to mind ,My Dear Mother in law ,Minnie when she reached her Senior Years,She had moved to Chicago but came back to the South,now she loved Humboldt but did not realize how much till she was in a condo with her daughter not able to do the things like go to church ,walk the sidewalks and all this good stuff she was doing in Humboldt ,well she was in Ala. visiting her sister Vivian and she fell and broke her arm but would not go to the Doctor,she got on a bus to go to Nashville so her son L,R. could pick her up [he was working there or close by],he came back home Humboldt every weekend,she was feeling bad and her arm was wrapped ,I asked her what was that for ,she finially showed me and that arm was blue blue and I told her we were going to hospital ,Humboldt ,they sent her to Jackson and we got that arm set ,after a stay[they let you stay then] at Regions ,I was with her when they set it ,you really need to get that done sooner,she survived this and went back to Chicago [her daughter came after her],it was not long till she needed more eye treatment,she came to Humboldt to see a doctor in Jackson wanting him to do a transplant ,no way he said,they had great doctors in Chicago but for all you Humboldt people ,[and the ones who moved away]there was something about Humboldt that got to you ,she wanted to be back here and tried so hard,my husband same way, I could not get him out of this town ,now me I am here and was raised here born close by and I stayed after I was alone>> my Reason it was my HOMETOWN and I did not want to move another time,My reason for this tale is WE or YOU will get to that SENIOR time in your life and all these things could happen to you and maybe Humboldt is the place you would like to be [or maybe your home town if from somewhere else] >>> ending I love my Mother-in law she treated me like a daughter ,A great Lady she was and I miss her also where ever she is now [ Heaven is for her] and ,this is for her . :]
