I woke up this morning thinking about Historic Rogersville, TN. See Rebecca McCormicks vdeo from the Newspaper Museum then plan a week-end trip with overnight lodging at Hale Springs Inn. McKinneys offers fine dining inside this beautif...ul historic B&B. Other exceptional dining options are at the Jubilee Gallery just outside of town. They even have a Pals! If the weather is nice, drive out to the Thomas Amis Historic Park for a meal next to this historic home. There is a small waterfall too. For more entertainment, the mayor of Surgoinsville has live music the third Fridays at Bellamy Hardware or drive into nearby Kingsport CVB for some big city fun. There are plenty of scenics drives in the area including roads to Kyles Ford River Place on the Clinch or the Clinch Mountain Overlook on 25E.
