I woke up this morning to only see Frankina the discus swimming in my tank... The babies are gone and the male is no where to be found.. After intense searching I found him dead in the Tardis decoration in my tank.. How he even got in there is a mystery.. Its so small.. He wedged his way in there then couldnt get out. Im heartbroken. Raising discus has been highs and lows but mostly lows. They are amazing fish but I dont know if I can do it anymore. Its just so sad all the time.. My options now are to find her another mate , or a bunch of tank mates but as you all know they are super expensive fish.. I lost my job end of October and I dont think I can get any more at this time. Im going to have to sell her, I have for sale Frankina the beautiful discus who is 6 inches and a confirmed breeder. Shes a really good momma. Selling for $100 RIP male discus, I didnt give him a name :( The orange one is the female., I also have a giant discus breeding cone for sale $50 :( :( :(
