I woke up this morning with a heavy heart for those couples going through something tough and heartbreaking. The holidays are usually the hardest times of the year for those hurting. So heres a transparent moment for you that I hope gives someone hope! I stopped posting encouraging parts of our testimony after Chad and I got married bc I felt the enemy attacked us even more every time I did. And the reality is, he was. He was attacking bc he lost. He lost a war with THE Redeemer. Bc Chad and I, at one point had nothing left for one another. There was so much hurt, lies and betrayal we were done and walked away. Then there was this thing called grace and mercy and forgiveness that I had prayed for during our marriage and gave up on bc it wasnt working when I wanted it to!! But it hadnt given up on us. So after years of hurts from everything from addictions and an affair to the loss of a baby and a shattered family, on May 23rd this year, God breathed life into it all! Its never easy even today. But some days are easier than others but His grace is enough, I can promise you that bc His word says it is. So for those who feel like theres no hope and you feel nothing will work or ever change, I speak life to you. I speak hope and strength to hold on to the Healer of all things. I feel your hurts and so does HE. Christ is sitting there holding you right in the midst of it all. You are not alone this holiday season.
