I woke up with others on my mind this morning. So many family members & friends are having health problems and, in addition, to keeping them close in my prayers I was thinking what can I do to remind them how much I care. My sister, Bonita, my friend Jackie Nichols, my cousin, Rosemary, my neighbor June Byrd & her sister, Bob & Betty Sanford, Joyce & Bill Hancock, Frank Brannon, Ann Freeman, my dear friend, Lynn Tucker and her daughter, Shellie. Phil Bostic, drummer for David Ables and the list goes on. Even though, I may not recall every name and every situation right now, Im thankful that God knows each need. Shelley Eileen Hill & Wendi Miller and your family, my thoughts and prayers for you in the loss of your grandfather. Thank you Jesus for filling my heart with so much love for others. I love you Lord and I feel your Holy Presence with me surrounding me and I so need your strength and your power. Be with each name I have listed and others who have great needs. Linda Bostic, Im sending prayers up for you. And for Pastor Travis who will shortly be assuming the role as Pastor of Fairview, Heavenly Father I pray for him. Give him the wisdom - the kind that comes down from you - to guide this church, to comfort and lead this flock, to influence each of us to reach a little higher in seeking to do Gods Will and to let our light shine out in a dark and very troubled world. So much going on in the world today and church families, in addition to our blood familes need to love each other like weve never loved before. We can do it, with Gods help we can.
