I wonder if Rosetta Stone has a module for Internet Technology language. This past week Ive become marginally fluid in IT. I can recognize the terms, understand them somewhat, but dont ask me to write or speak it. For example, youll find the term sequel express all over my notes and today learned its actually SQL not Sequel. This weeks been a crash-course in my IT-School-of-Real-Life (a satellite school of The-Buck-Stops-Here and If-You-Dont-Do-It,Who-Will?). I no longer panic (i.e. retreat in a fetal position) when the tech asks me how many ports are in my router or who handles my DSN. I got this. ....at least until they ask me the next question. Thank God for people who are smarter than me; Ive been surrounded by them this week and theyve been educating me patiently (most of the time). We are so damn close. All the key pieces are now poised, waiting, and ready to go. As soon as we get our Owners and Omissions Insurance Declaration page in hand, the checkered flag will wave and the real fun will begin. But today....today is Halloween. Its a day for marketing--in my Lady Dancealot costume. The Internet Technology gang can eat some chocolate and wait until tomorrow. :) Dance with me?
