I wonder what it is that makes us notice similarities between the faces of famous people and those we know a little more closely. I, for example, never tire of looking for the 1970s Jaya Bhaduri in my friend Bhaswati Ghosh. People have sometimes, erroneously of course, pointed out resemblances between the faces of certain Hindi film actresses and mine. That list is the stuff of Saturday evening jokes.
