I wonder what life would be like if we could better understand the dynamics of people. For me, Ive spent my life trying to better, understand where others are coming from, what makes them tick, how to motivate them, sympathize with them, lead them, follow them, inspire them but most of all respect them. Ive had many failures in this regard but continue to realize that its most important. I suppose that if we start by understanding ourselves first then it may help. Understanding what we stand for, what our purpose is, why we behave the way we do and what drives us. For those that are driven by greed, rethink it. For those that are driven by ego, rethink it. For those that are driven by fear, thanks for admitting the same thing I feel. For those that are driven by ambition, what is it? For those that are driven by faith, Amen. For those that are driven by love, keep a clear head. For those that are driven by pride, check it at the door. For those that are driven by purpose, well, thats something to talk about. A persons character isnt defined by the size of their bank account but by the company they keep and the deeds they do. Confidence is hard to come by but if in this moment you are confident that how you are leading your life will serve a purpose, one that enriches your spirit and others, then forge forward. Take a minute today and count your blessings, take note on what you have accomplished, who you have helped, what you have done, but most of all take stock in where you are going. People are the most important to me, even when they hurt me. I believe in them to the core. What do you see as your purpose? I want to hear it and I want you to share it. Tell me.
