I wonder whether are we all aware about the damage that was done by apartheid regime to us as Africans. Some grew up thinking that the surnames that they are using are theirs, some grew up not knowing their fathers, some still are using the so called Christian names like Joseph, John, Benjamin, Jumaima, Shadrack, Paul, Lettia, etc. Some are still not using their proper surnames even if they know their correct surnames, but WHY? I think its time for us as Africans to stand for our rights and fight what was done to our minds and correct things. We are Africans, as Africans we need not to forget about our past. The ailing former president of South Africa Mr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela once said "We must forgive, but not forget" AMANDLA.
