I wondered why my friend John Monroe from Chicago (who always came to see Trembling Blue Stars in Chicago and loved The Fall) hadnt written to me in months... I went to leave a message on his page and nearly threw up when I saw a load of RIP messages. Nothing can prepare us for that. He always gave me regular health updates and was on the list for a liver transplant as he had severe diabetes; I always thought hed be OK. He was so lovely and kind... Im sure some of you knew him as JohnFM from the cutieclub. I hate that strange feeling, when you first learn that someone has died like you have to just tell them one last thing, and it almost feels possible. He ended his last message to me, which looked to be a month or so before he died, In happier news, RSD takes place on April 20th. I would not expect The Fall 7” to last long. However, the last time there was a Fall 7”, in the following weeks and months many were available at a normal price. I think the full list of UK releases will be released this week.
