I wont be around for a lot of the day, since my family and I are heading out to try and get a board game to play like old times. SO. Im going to give you hoofers a little TCG Deck Tip, that...probably all of you know. But, as I like to say, Im mostly informing those who havent been in the TCG meta as much, or are just starting out. Im going to start scheduling these while Im at work or when I know I wont be around. So I hope these help! Todays tip is on the Genesect EX and Virizon EX Combo deck. This deck was the winning deck at the TCG 2014 World Championship. You can find the game on youtube. Anyway, the focus of this deck is Energy ramp. Virizion is your main source of ramp, through the attack of Emerald Slash. This gets two Grass Energy which you then feed onto Genesect. This combo is usually paired with the effect of a Pokemon Tool to increase Genesects damage output. Once it starts ramping, just keep feeding Genesect kills with Escape Ropes or attaching Plasma Energys to him, and keep firing that amazing cannon of his. Obviously their are changes to the deck in different play styles, but the core is Emerald Slash, two energy on Genesect, Retreat Virizion, Plasma energy to Genesect for Red Signal, and bang bang everything becomes a smoldering mess. Super simple strategy, but very effective. The only weakness to this tactic is that it relies on Pokemon EX cards, which will net your opponent 2 prize cards. High Risk, High Reward, this strategy is pretty dang impressive. ~Delta
