I wont directly comment on the new changes to our relations with Cuba. There seems to be two groups with two different opinions. One from a group that has a memory of what Cuba was and another from a group whom still visit the country because they have close family there or recently came. I SUPPORT THEM BOTH. Whatever happens, I hope the Cuban people (still there) soon seek that fundamental human right (we here) still enjoy. Im not Cuban but have close family who is and it weighs heavily on my heart when I hear of people losing their lives in the water for something we take for granted here. Whatever the solution to the problem is, I hope it happens soon. People are still suffering and while not openly supporting this, we can all say a little prayer that somehow, someway it just happens to work and brings a little light where there is absolute darkness.
