I work hard, and am damn good at what I do. Hence, the following exchange at work today with a little tin god: Surely youre capable of making a mistake ? Of course I am. Im kinda human that way. They are damn rare, however. Maybe its a matter of education. I hold 2 Bachelors; one in Civil Engineering, one in Health Sciences... with honors. You should focus more on your job, instead of the nice day outside and what youd rather be doing. Buddy, I spent 40 years with a Salter pin as big as my thumb holding my left leg together. During that time, Ive done some of the dirtiest, hard physical labor you can imagine. I have walked miles in the snow to get to work. Ive done work that most men cant, or wont do. Since I was 16 years old, Ive earned every dime that has passed through my hands. Can you say the same ? Uh... ummm... By the way... next time you want to try to make me take your crap bending over, it wont happen. Unlike yourself, my self-respect doesnt have a price.
