I work with medical technology, and have been attempting to keep - TopicsExpress

I work with medical technology, and have been attempting to keep up with all the new medical applications for smartphones and other emerging devices. I am also at a milestone in life, having applied for Medicare Part A yesterday with my 65th birthday imminent. I have come up with some practical uses for Google Glass that I would like someone to develop. Today, if possible. 1. Facial recognition: There are military types developing apps to recognize the faces of criminals and terrorists. I could use them to recognize my friends, family, former students, current students, fellow faculty and such and tell me their names. 2. Subtitles: While spies can use them to ease drop on covert conversations using lip reading and translate foreign languages into English, I need them to hear what people are saying to me in English and write it out so I can read it. 3. Checklists: To do lists are great for keeping up with work tasks and such. I need Google Glasses to watch what I am doing and tell me when I have neglected some vital step. Like “You idiot. You just loaded the coffee maker but forgot to turn it on.” Any other geriatric ideas? glass-apps.org/
