I worry; youre tense; were both still glancing elbows, catching each other in the corner of our sight, sending little glimpses of love without quite looking in the eye. Our tree has been growing, we know and accept that, but we cant yet look at each other, not long without blushing rushing to make sense of this awkward,sensational feeling. I say we keep the tide steady, were doing just fine. Well see how we feel about each other in time; when I see you, and you see me, will be the moment we decide if it is, indeed, to be. We are each to our own scars, our burns; our battered bones and feelings; from past experiences, well paint the other, with ideas and memories from rotten clouds. Text and words, even poetry, can be read in varying ways; depending on the light they cast, the mood were in, and if were looking for healing or pain. I say we keep it steady, calm and non-chalont, until we get to see, smell, and feel each other, to see what happens in the moment
