I would be laughing, but were paying him this money & more for an office and staff - and getting next to nothing...lets look at the record so far: 1. Sponsored the Municipal ID but only named it and left it to the Mayor to tell us what it is... 2. Held a movie in the park (others have a dozen) but it was the parks dept that asked him to put his name on it...he had nothing to do with it. 3. A Park Clean-up - a 12 year old came to his office and asked for it...and Carlos went along for the pictures 4. The 72nd beat up people after the P.R. Day Parade and for three weeks he avoided looking at the video. 3 months later he still did nothing until it hit the television. 5. Today is the funniest. the million tree program is letting him put his name on the tree give away tomorrow - so what does he do? He has a new staffer calling organizations to volunteer to do it. What does he do for his $112,500? Oh he gave $10,000 to a group with a quarter of a billion dollars to put on an exhibit that has nothing to do with Sunset. Hes giving money to lots of groups - outside of Sunset Park...what about us? He takes his office staff on day trips to waterfront businesses and instead of asking hard questions acts like a day off in the park He said here - in Sunset Parker he would hold a meeting about the waterfront park still being closed and then he secretly went to a group he gives big bucks to (oh they really need it i saw an irs report that the group got $600,000 - still dont know what they spent it on) and held a watered down meeting (to avoid the tough questions)
