I would just like to take a minute to say, PLEASE everyone, be very careful of the advice you give and follow here in this group. I have seen advice given that very well could end up with your dog being dead if followed. I know you just are looking for help and advice for your sweet family member. Please, you know if it is serious, it can be read in the words you use, and the way you use them, and as long as you have made an appointment, or are on your way to the vet, all is good. For those are just trying to be helpful with your advice. I would hope most of us know, there is no way an accurate DIAGNOSIS, let alone prescription of meds and or homeopathy, a cure, and happy outcome can be given from just a poor picture, really no other information such as temperature, radiographs, palpating the area, and a dozen other evaluation information and tools needed to make an accurate diagnosis. I’ve read these would be healers suggest things that are in the realm of possibility to truly outrageous diagnosis…. Here are some links to useful information. Some diseases like HOD have indications and treatments specific to Weimaraners, this is IMPORTANT to know, many vets never see HOD, let alone in a weim.
