I would just like to take a moment to thank all the awesome followers on this page. One thing this page teaches us every day is how diverse we are and yet how much we have in common. One thing I would like to make clear to those who might miss the point somehow - and that is that we dont discriminate on this page. ANYONE can join - anyone can form part of this family and partake in the activities. The only people that are not welcome are those who offend people and that are just plain rude. One of the things about the coloured culture and heritage is that there is always room for anyone at our tables. If you think about it your mothers and Grans always had their doors open, they always cooked extra (just in case someone came over and they were hungry) so why would we be any different. I, for one, love learning from others about their culture and heritage, but I even more so I love sharing mine and I love being part of this ever growing family ... so to the newbies - welcome - to the old faithfuls thanks for sticking around and for always making people feel welcome. We all here to share, to experience. to build up and encourage and to unite as one. Its just who we are ...
