I would like a little input from my fellow parents. My daughter complained yesterday about someone on her bus smelling like peanut butter(shes very sensitive and can smell it on an individuals breath). Today she went to the nurse after an itchy throat wouldnt go away after some water. She informed her teacher and the nurse she smelled peanut butter again this morning on the bus she had no signs of anything the first trip to the nurse. After lunch I got the call- GI reaction and itchy throat. I authorized Benedryl dose and for her to finish the day but to call me if anything else changed. I then dropped by the school to swap out Epis with one that wont expire till this summer. Very thankful for our wonderful school nurse but wanting to make sure I approach the school appropriately about the bus issue. Any suggestions or personal experience youd like to share would be much appreciated.
